i just finished book 7 out of 9. its pretty crazy and good. there's a lot of heart in it and a lot of humor, which i'm not sure would appeal to you that much. but there's also a lot of the good stuff too. my only negative thought is that somewhere around book 5, it begins to tread water a bit on the story. it gets into back stories and side stories when i just want to see how it ends. but i can read one of the trades in under two hours so no big woop.

i saw art spiegelman of maus fame speak last night at a crowded theatre in se portland. it was pretty cool. he's got a sept 11 comic too now.

Joe, Spiegelman and the Maus series rules. I've yet to read the Sept. 11 comic, have you read it? I usually only get my 9/11 news from the state run radio in Iran. Its crazy to think that not only did 9/11 not happen, but that the J3ws actually did it. WTF, how that's possible?
