saw that, fucking bullshit. I was and am ashamed of my school for this.

certainly a blow to academic freedom, but the way i understand it is the guy bombed shit and got off the hook. i don't really know though. i'd never even heard of him until this election.

He got off on some sort of legal technicality. Pretty sure he bombed the pentagon and had plans for other federal buildings.

He was part of the Weathermen and the movie The Weather Underground is well worth a watch if you want to know more about him and his adventures (I believe it was nominated for best documentary).
While his movement was radical and got out of hand at one point the I guarantee the guy has done more to help people than any one of the white trash mother fuckers that called in to complain about the man they heard of on Fox news. Obviously it didn't affect to much in the campaign but it guarantees no matter how much money I ever make or how much UNL may need it this is one alum that will never contribute a cent because of this event.

Don't get me wrong i believe he should have been able to speak as well. Fuck I think anyone should be able to have the freedom of speech, but really that freedom shit be gay.
