just about to finish the 2nd book. It's too bad they haven't made a movie quite as good as this stuff. If you've never read Punisher this is the place to start. The first book kinda of bridges the transition to the new Punisher existing outside of the superhero universe.

just finished the first book... not sure how much i should say since j is going to read it next. not sure how it will compare to my favorites ever....

I can't get into sandman, Hax read it for awhile. I find that I like crime oriented comix the most. I'm half way through Batman: Dark Victory and I'm going to read Wanted whenever I get it from Chris.

got the second book for the preacher today. i was wrong to doubt its awesomeness. another funny thing is, as i sit on my breaks outside new seasons to read it, three random people have stopped to say, wow the preacher rules! i love that book! and some people drove by in their car and asked if they could take a picture of me throwing up the horns, and i obliged them, but that is unrelated to the preacher.

how iz batman: dark victory?

I really like everything I've ever read by Ennis so I'm going to give it a shot. Dark Victory lost my interest pretty fast, it's the follow-up to long Halloween which I think is much better. I was distracted by other comix so I may not have given it a fair chance. I just finished Punisher book 3 and I really want the next on too but I just started Wanted and I just got Watchmen in the mail so I'm going to be on a Punisher break.

Preacher update: HBO announced today they are no longer making the series.
